Scott Bonine, Head Coach
Scott Bonine has been a member of the staff since May 2001 and is an ASCA Level 4 coach. Bonine is the Head Coach/Program Manager of TG and the primary coach for the Green, Pre-Senior, Senior, and morning Masters groups. He has over 27 years of coaching experience on all levels including stints as an assistant at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and head coaching positions in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Coach Bonine has worked with athletes that competed in the Atlanta and Sydney Olympic Games, several U.S. Olympic Trials qualifiers, and various swimmers that scored at the NCAA Championships, Senior Nationals, and Junior Nationals. His swimmers have also achieved world and national top sixteen rankings. Bonine, a native of Minnesota, received his undergraduate degree from Winona State University (MN) and pursued graduate studies in Recreation Administration at the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse.
Since his arrival in Greenville, Bonine has had numerous USA Swimming Academic All-Americans and National High School All Americans.  He has had four swimmers qualify for the United States Swimming National Championships and two achieve Olympic Trial qualifying standards. Many of his swimmers have received NCAA Division I scholarship athletes.  Bonine’s swimmers have scored at the US Nationals, Junior Nationals, and US Open.  Swimmers from the TG senior program are consistently among the state’s best and many have been members of the South Carolina Zone Team.
Coach Bonine has served as Senior Chair and serves as Coaches Representative for SC Swimming. He was recognized as the South Carolina Coach of the Year in 2003.

Greg T. Williams
Coach Greg T. Williams has approximately seven years experience prior to coming to TG in working with swimmers of all ages and skill levels and over 20 years of experience in the sport of swimming.
He has coached swimmers from Southeastern qualifiers to T16 level finishers.  Williams was a volunteer coach for the University of Tennessee Lady Vols for two seasons. He was also the Head coach of the Sugarwood Stingrays, which is a member GAKISA.
In the summer of 2003 Greg coached at the University of Georgia assisting them with in the college team and their yearly summer swim camp. Williams also coached collegiate and club swimmers at Western Illinois. During his time as a student assistant with the Leathernecks and the Westerwinds, Williams helped both the men's or women's squads to three-consecutive Midwest Classic Championship titles from 2001-03.
A native of Sterling, Ill., he received a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in Sociology from WIU in 2003.

Roy Dessloch, Age Group and Masters Coach
Roy Dessloch has over 31 years of coaching experience at all levels and has been with Team Greenville since September 1991. Primary coach of the Yellow group (Roy is the “godfather” of Eight and Under swimming), he also works extensively with the Masters and Introduction to Competitive Swimming groups. Dessloch also handles team communications and many other administrative duties. He assists on all levels of the program as needed.
Coach Dessloch served as head coach of what is now Team Greenville from September 1991 until October 2004. He has competed and coached on the age group, high school, collegiate, and Masters levels. His coaching experience includes head coaching stints at Hagerstown YMCA (MD), Mountaineer Swim Club (WV), and Anderson Swim Club (SC) producing numerous national top sixteen swimmers in addition to Zone, YMCA, and Junior National qualifiers. Dessloch is a native of Pennsylvania, a graduate of Wabash College, and obtained his masters at West Virginia University.  He has served as Age Group, Coaches, and Technical Planning Chair for South Carolina Swimming, and is currently the Secretary.  He is also the Records Chairman for South Carolina Masters Swimming.


Sandy White, Age Group Coach
Sandy White has been with Team Greenville since September 1995. Coach White is the primary coach of the Red, Blue and High School groups. She also handles TG registration and dues.  Coach White has over 22 years of coaching experience.  She swam club for Jack Nelson the 1976 USA Women’s Olympic Team Coach and assisted Coach Nelson with many clinics and swim camps. White was an outstanding age group, junior college, and collegiate swimmer and water polo player. She was a High School All-American breaststroker and water polo player growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She also earned All-American status at Broward Community College and went on to Virginia Commonwealth University.
Coach White has produced more than a dozen national top sixteen qualifiers.  Her athletes have broken many state records and posted numerous state individual and relay titles.  Working with our senior programs, she has developed athletes who have received major Division I swimming scholarships.
In 2004, Sandy White was recognized as the South Carolina Age Group Coach of the Year.
